Disclosure: I received a sampling of Peaceable Kingdom Valentines for review purposes. I only review products that I believe are fun and fabulous and that my readers and their kids will love.
Valentine’s Day brings with it a sweet rush of nostalgia for us parents: we recall exchanging Valentine’s Day cards with our friends and the excitement of riffling through them with the anticipation usually only reserved for Christmas stockings and trick-or-treat bags. For our kids, there’s a way that experience can be even sweeter: with Peaceable Kingdom’s awesome scratch-and-sniff Valentine’s Day cards. The Peaceable Kingdom Valentines smell yummy, are very striking visually, and they are easy to fill out for your little ones.
We sampled the Chillin’ Strawberry Scratch & Sniff Super Valentine Card Pack, which doesn’t seem to be widely available, but other similar packs are available at the Peaceable Kingdom website. The Super Valentine Card Pack comes with 28 cards and envelopes, more than enough for my daughter’s class. The strawberry fragrance smells “divine,” as my daughter would say, and we love the ice cream-themed designs. We also sampled the chocolate scratch-and-sniff Valentines. The scent wasn’t as authentic as the strawberry, but it still smells really good.
We also received the Lollipop Moustaches & Lips Cards. The lollipops are inserted in glossy lip cards. Kids are guaranteed to have a blast with those as they eat the lollipops and try on the lips, whether it’s a handlebar moustache or glossy red lips. The only one that struck me as strange was the mouth with the gold tooth, but the others are adorable. They aren’t scented, but there’s no need for it.
We can’t wait for Friday’s sweet Valentine’s Day exchange!
