Inspired by the Emerald City in THE WIZARD OF OZ 1939 classic movie, this Emerald City martini recipe is a fabulous choice for any celebration, whether it’s a THE WIZARD OF OZ movie party, before an OZ THE GREAT AND POWERFUL screening, or a St. Patrick’s Day party. When you need a fun drink that’s yummy and GREEN, then you want to try out this Emerald City Martini recipe.
1 ounce Midori melon liqueur
1 ounce kumquat liqueur from Corfu or Curacao
1 ounce vodka
1 ounce lemon juice
If you want a greener hue, add just one little drop of green food coloring (too much and the drink turns out too dark). You can also make the Emerald City Martini recipe with just Midori and vodka: it’s also delicious.
Add a maraschino cherry for an extra pop of color and a twist of lemon wound around a cocktail toothpick to represent the Yellow Brick Road. The rainbow manicure is optional.
Special thanks to Group Recipes and Midori for the inspiration for the Emerald City Martini recipe.
A HUGE thank you to my fantastic MOM for helping me with the photography on this post. And another HUGE thank you to my wonderful dad for advising on the drink. Here’s to you, Mom and Dad–you’re the BEST!

Ya know, I thought for sure that this would have something ‘Minty’ in it, but I am actually surprised that it doesn’t. This sounds really yummy.
