These adorable mandarin orange pumpkins, a very healthy snacks for kids, are all the rage! Thanks to a talented mom at my daughter’s preschool, the kiddos enjoyed this very healthy snack at the school’s Halloween party. Simply cut a celery stick lengthwise into strips, then cut into ¾ inch pieces. Insert one celery piece into the top of each peeled mandarin orange. I think they would be a very fun addition to the kids’ table at Thanksgiving.
I did a little research, and credit for this creation goes Toni at Blue Skies Ahead. Thanks for the inspiration, Toni, and thanks to the awesome moms at my daughter’s school for sharing their version of it with me so that I could bring it to you, dear readers!
That is so clever and balances out all the super sweet treats from Halloween. Thanks for sharing that, ReelMama. We appreciate all your great treat ideas.
What a cute idea! My son LOVES these! He would eat a whole box if I let him!
Wow. Thanks Reelmama for this post. Orange pumpkin has more nutritional value than the regular candy an my baby boy seems to like it all the more.
