Thanks to Paramount for partnering with me to provide the digital code giveaway for Daddy’s Home 2! Enter below using the Rafflecopter.
Friday night is family movie night at our house. It’s a time for us to put aside the cares and craziness of the week, share popcorn and pizza, and take in a film of my eight-year-old’s choosing. If you have older kids, the selection can be trickier. It might be harder to find a movie that the whole family loves, which is exactly why I founded this blog, to help parents find the movies that work for their families.
Is Daddy’s Home 2 right for your family? I found Daddy’s Home to be disappointing: very crass, lots of language and inappropriate references for younger children. Overall, the story didn’t live up to its potential. Daddy’s Home 2 still has a lot of questionable content (language, sexual references). However, I scoured the parent reviews on Common Sense Media, and the consensus seems to be that Daddy’s Home 2 is better than the original. For a date night in, this movie could be fairly entertaining late night viewing as you chill on the sofa.
So, check out Common Sense Media’s parent review roundup, and if you think this will work for your family, or you just want something mindless to watch, enter to win Daddy’s Home 2. Thanks!
